Ethiopia has a rich calendar of religious festivals. Some of the most significant include:
Timket (Epiphany): 18/19 January – Celebrated in January, a colorful and vibrant festival involving processions and baptisms.
Meskel (Finding of the True Cross): 26/27 September – Celebrated in September, marked by large bonfires and processions.
