This is not a simple tour, but a real expedition into the heart of Ethiopia, a country where nature expresses itself with primordial force and local cultures retain a rare authenticity. We will enter Danakil, one of the hottest and most inhospitable regions on Earth, a lunar landscape of active volcanoes, salt lakes and geysers. We will explore Harar, a walled city and UNESCO heritage site, a crossroads of Islamic cultures and traditions.

Day 1: Addis Ababa – Harar
- Fly from Addis Ababa to Dire Dawa.
- Transfer by 4×4 to Harar
Day 2: Harar
- Guided tour of Harar, a UNESCO heritage site.
- Exploration of historical and cultural sites.
- Encounter with local culture.
Day 3: Harar – Awash
- Transfer by 4×4 to Awash.
- Views of the Rift Valley.
- Visit to Awash National Park.
- Stay in a lodge with thermal pools.
Day 4: Awash – Alalobed
- Transfer by 4×4 to Alalobed.
- Visit to geysers, hot springs and geothermal phenomena.
- Bird watching.
Day 5: Alalobed – Asayta – Galyloma
- Transfer by 4×4 to Gamarri and Afambo lakes.
- Visit to the colorful market of Asayta.
- Meeting with the Afar population.
- Trekking to Galyloma lake.
Day 6: Galyloma – Erta Ale
- Transfer by 4×4 to Erta Ale.
- Night trekking to the active volcano.
Day 7: Erta Ale – Assabolo
- Descent from Erta Ale.
- Transfer to Assabolo.
Day 8: Dallol
- Excursion to Dallol.
- Exploration of the lunar landscape and salt formations.
- Visit to the geysers and colorful hot springs.
Day 9: Assabolo – Mekele – Addis Ababa
- Walk in the canyon of the Saba River.
- Transfer by 4×4 to Mekele.
